    Matthew 28:16-20 (NKJV)

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

    A. Yes, it is commandment by Christ.

    B. No, the commandment was limited to the apostles.

    C. I don't believe missions is for every believer.

    D. I owe it all to the One who laid down His life for me.

We are all called to be witnesses and living evidences of His love, grace, mercy and ultimate salvation in Jesus our Saviour. And our mission field is wherever the Lord places us, be it at work, school, among unsaved friends and neighbours, and especially in our families.

It says in 2 Peter 3:9 NIV, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance". Thus, we should all follow Christ command to go into all the world and make disciples of all men, that is to share the Good News, because He wants all men to experience salvation. Therefore, it's for every genuine believer to heed to The Great Commission and never make it "the great omission" in their Christian lives.

John 3: 16 said that "whoever believes", so yes it for all of mankind.

The apostles were the only available source of the gospel then, before written material became widely available, just like Moses was the only source of god's instructions before the scriptures became available.
